MONUMENTAL spiced extra virgin olive oils – country of origin Spain. The spiced extra virgin olive oils are made by cold pressing in stone mills on the same day on which the olives are harvested from the trees. Further, dried herbs or spices are added to the olive oil tanks and macerated for one month on average - depending on the taste intensity and ingredient aroma (e.g. chilli is macerated for less than 1 month) Only natural ingredients are used in production of spiced extra virgin olive oils; no chemical preservatives, aromas, colourants or other artificial additives are used.

Extra virgin olive oils are recommended to spice ready meals; they can lose important substances by heat treatment, which can lead to reduced intensity of their aroma.

Positive effects on health:
Extra virgin olive oils have positive effects on human health particularly thanks to the contents of vitamin E, provitamin A and antioxidants. Their consumption helps to reduce the blood cholesterol level as well as the risk of cardiovascular diseases. They are easily digestible, have positive influence on human organism – stomach, liver, bones, brain, but also help to improve the quality of skin and nails.

- they are extracted through pressing of the Arbequina olives grown in the Grup Pons family business in Spain, together with carefully selected citrus fruits from the Mediterranean. Grinding of olives and citrus fruits is made by traditional procedures in stone mills.
The combination of olives and citrus fruits allows creating a unique aroma. Citrus oils are excellent mixture of lemon or mandarin freshness with delicate taste of extra virgin olive oil.

Extra virgin citrus olive oil – lemon suits particularly for spicing sea fruits, fish, vegetables, chicken meals and carpaccio. The oil contains 25% lemon oil.

Extra virgin citrus olive oil – mandarin gives exotic tinge to all kinds of salads, grilled fish and desserts. The oil contains 25% mandarin oil.
Special hint how to prepare salad: different lettuce species, pieces of roasted chicken, slices of avocado or pineapple, walnuts and MONUMENTAL extra virgin citrus olive oil – mandarin.

WE RECOMMEND NOT TO HEAT-TREAT ALL THE OILS STATED ABOVE, BUT USE THEM COLD FOR SPICING OF MEALS, SO THAT THEY DO NOT LOSE VALUABLE SUBSTANCES FROM THEIR CONTENTS.
